Today morning, protester stop coming down the alley. The picketing began at the railway station in key parts of the state. As a result, trains were stranded in many places. Afternoon 12 p.m., train traffic resumed. The bus owners association had not announced a shutdown. But the bus could not get out as there were protests by various organizations in the morning at the bus stands. Many passengers were stranded at the bus stand for a long time. Some buses could not reach their destinations due to roadblocks. Traffic was light at this time of night. Markets were closed in almost all major cities in the state, including the capital. Many traders associations have decided to close the shops since yesterday. Roads were closed and traffic was light at this time of night. After about 2 p.m., the situation returned to normal. Transportation of essential goods, milk trucks, pharmacies, ambulance services, etc. continued as usual.
Protesters today staged a picket in front of central government offices across the state. As a result, staff in many offices were unable to enter. Some bank employees unions did not take an active part in the protest, despite their moral support. But banking services were disrupted as supporters of the shutdown staged protests in front of various banks. Employees and customers could not come to the bank. State leaders of various political parties, including the Congress and the CPI (M), have been picketing in various parts of the capital.

In addition, various organizations blocked roads and railroads separately. Intellectuals were also seen taking to the streets in support of the shutdown.
