He is a author of agricultural engineering books. Mr. Rawat did his B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology Etawah, Uttar Pradesh in 2002 and M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Farm Machinery & Power from Indira Gandhi Agricultural University Raipur, Chhattisgarh in 2004.
He is recipient of Junior Research Fellowship of ICAR (2002-03). Presently, Er. Rawat is Working as Assistant Engineer in U.P. Government.

He obtained his B.Tech Ag degree in 2002 from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, campus of CSA University of Agriculture & Technology Kanpur (U.P).
After this, He earned his M. Tech degree in same discipline with specialization in Agricultural Process & Food Engineering in 2004 from Indira Gandhi Agricultural University Raipur(C.G) in 2004. He completed hid doctoral degree (PhD) in discipline of Agricultural Process & Food Engineering in 2008 from SVP Patel University of Agriculture & Technology, Meerut (UP).
During his PhD. programme Dr. Goyal has been a recipient of UGC National Fellow. He has also been associated with NAIP of ICAR at Central Potato Research Institute Campus Modipuram, Meerut (UP) during 2008-09. Dr. Goyal has also been awarded Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) by UGC, New Delhi for conducting studies on "Various Qualities of Basmati and non-Basmati Rice Grown in Western Uttar Pradesh".
