Mushroom Cultivation

A mushroom is a part of Fungus also called as toadstool that like a fruit of a plant. Its cells are dormant in the soil. It is located in a circular colony in different directions and is within a scattered area. Mushrooms have been used as a delicious food since ancient times. The Greeks considered it a food of God. Of the various types of mushrooms, about three types of mushrooms can be cultivated in India on a commercial basis. These are straw mushrooms, oyster mushrooms and white button mushrooms. However, it has been cultivated as a lucrative business in Odisha. Here's how to grow mushroom as a business.

Food quality:

Although the nutritional value of mushrooms is lower than meat, it is still higher than vegetables. Calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus, phosphorus, potassium, phosphorus, sulfur, and phosphorus are present in the body. Because the palate is delicious, it is more in demand than other mushrooms.

Time and surroundings of mushroom cultivation:

Oystermushroom  is cultivated from March to October. The cultivation requires a temperature of 30 to 34 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 40 percent.

 Farming equipment

 1. Blocked house:

Roofing can be done in a room with windows. The house needs to have a door, so that the air can circulate. The house may be dark or light.

 2. Rice straw:

The shop needs clean rice straw. Each banana patch requires 30 bundles of 2.5 feet long or 15 kg of straw.

 3. Spawn  (mushroom seed):

One spawn bottle is required for one roof.

4. Hard / Boot Guns or Gram flour:

250 g of chopped hard boots or husks or Gram flour is required.

5. Wood / Bamboo Rental:

A wooden / bamboo frame of a certain size is made and placed 1 foot high on bricks or stones.

Farming methods:

First, soak the dried straw in a clean place for about 12 hours in clean water to keep it from dripping. Then soak the straws in hot water for 25 to 30 minutes and then rinse again. In light-ventilated homes, under a tree, make a ridge about 1 foot above the ground made of wood / bamboo three feet long and three feet wide, and spread the wet straw on it to the east and west at a height of 4 inches, so that the roots of the stalks are always on the outside. Press and flatten. Break the spoon bottle, divide the seeds into four equal parts, take 1 part of the seeds and 1 part of the basin and leave 3 inches from the edge of the straw and place them around the vine. Then open the wet straw again, place it north-south on the stove and spread it 4 inches thick and put another part of the seeds and basins around the same level as before. Once again, spread the wet straw east-west, spreading the remaining half of the basin in the hand with a small print, and spreading the remaining two parts of the mushrooms all around and in the middle, spreading the rest of the wet straw very thinly or north-south to the opposite side of the eastern level. After the roof has been made, cover the bed with polythene for a total of 7 days. Remove the polythene after 7 days. And the stalks will still be wet.

 Mushroom harvesting method

The fungus begins to germinate 10 to 12 days after sowing. For the first time, the roof fails to close for two to three days, and after about a week, the roof fades again. One such bed is harvested 2/3 of the time

In any case, it is better to pick up the roof because it stays fresh for a long time. One to 1.5 kg of mushrooms are harvested from one bed. On a commercial basis, a person can earn up to Rs 370 a day if he or she makes 4 beds a day. Such a profit will be up to Rs 11,400 per month. So every farmer needs to pay special attention to this farming.
